Shahbaz Khan Bugti

Sir Shahbaz Khan Bugti (Sindhi: سر شھباز خان بگٽي) was the father of Nawab Mehrab Khan Bugti, Nawab Sohrab Khan Bugti. He is the grandfather of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, Nawabzada Ahmed Nawaz Khan Bugti, Sardar Ghulam Mustafa Khan Bugti. He received the title Knight of the British Empire for fighting for the British Colonial Government of India and for his service to the British colonials. He had fifteen great grandsons. Six from Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, namely, Nawabzada Salim Bugti, Nawabzada Rehan Bugti, Nawabzada Talal Bugti, Nawabzada Salal Bugti, Nawabzada Jameel Bugti & Nawabzada Shahzwar Bugti. From Sardar Ghulam Mustafa Khan Bugti he had six great grandsons. Namely Sardar Sohrab Khan Bugti, Dr Allah Nawaz Bugti, Sardar Yousuf Khan Bugti, Sardar Baber Khan Bugti, Sardar Taimur Khan Bugti and Sardar Aurangzeb Khan Bugti. Lastly, three from Nawabzada Sardar Ahmed Nawaz Bugti, Namely Sardar Bevaragh Bugti, Sardar Murtaza Bugti and Sardar Fahad Bugti. In addition, Sir Bugti received large gifts of land in Balochistan. He is also mentioned in the book The Tigers of Balochistan[1].
